About Us

Rockridge Baptist Assembly, founded in 1956, was the simple dream of several persons who saw the potential for baptists of West Georgia to have a place to retreat from the pressures of the world.  A place where God's still small voice might stir the hearts, minds, and the very soul of children, youth and adults.  Today Camp Rockridge stands as a testiony of faith, perseverance, and hard work of those who dreamed the dream of "A place where souls have a chance to grow."

Management

Camp Rockridge is owned and operated by three Associations of baptist churches: Carrollton, Troup (LaGrange), Western (Coweta & Heard County).  The policies and management of the camp are under the supervision of a board of trustees representing these three associations.

A camp director (see Director for more information)who resides on said property carries out policies established by the board of trustees and is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the camp.  Any use of Camp Rockridge facilities must be approved by the camp director.

Camp Rockridge is available for use by churches (of all faiths) including but not limited to sunday school classes, young at heart groups, deacons, chiors, youth groups, children's ministry, etc.  Camp Rockride is also available to other organizations such as schools, colleges, etc., whose purposes do not conflict with the Christian principles that guide the camp and policies set forth by the board of trustees.

Support

Camp Rockridge depends on financial support from the associations that own it, the churches it serves, and life-long friendships.  For those of you who support or have supported Camp Rockridge in the past whether it is financially, prayerfully, or physically "thank you so much!"
